This is your online resource for any of Mrs. O’Donnell’s English or writing classes at GCAA: American Lit I, American Lit II, Musical Theatre Literature, Creative Writing, and/or Writing Workshop. On this site you will find electronic versions of handouts, study guides, and assignments, links to helpful resources, and links to further reading. My hope is that providing online access to what we’re doing in class will help students stay organized, facilitate transparency for parents, and reduce our carbon footprint!
This is my second year at GCAA. I grew up in St. Louis, obtained my BA in Performance Studies at Northwestern University and my MAT in Communication Arts at Webster University. Prior to coming to GCAA, I taught Dance and Theater History at the Chicago High School for the Arts and Humanities and at UNO Rogers Park High School for four years. In addition to teaching, I teach Zumba and am a freelance writer, focusing on food, education and the arts. I have a performing arts background.
